Our ambassador committee organizes the Chamber's monthly Business After Hours events. They also work registration and welcome guests to our BAH events, and also are paired with new members to be a familiar face and helping hand through the first year. Business Education Committee
Sponsored in 2019-2020 by Amherst Label, the mission of the GMSVCC Educational Committee is to provide vital information on various topics to our Chamber members to educate them and help them grow their businesses. Economic Development Committee
Do you have an interest in the Economic Development in the Greater Merrimack-Souhegan Valley Region? Economic Development is defined in many ways, but in general, can be stated as a program, group of policies, and/or activity that seeks to improve the economic well-being and quality of life for a community. Economic development not only retains jobs and provides a stable tax base but also promotes economic betterment by continually improving human development, education, health, safety, and well-being for the citizens of a community. Events Committee
The Chamber has events throughout the year. Most of these events are organized by the Chamber staff and a very dedicated group of Chamber member volunteers. Events include: Blarney Blast, Kentucky Derby, Annual Dinner in June, Best of Greater Merrimack-Souhegan in the Fall, and others. Government Action Committee
This committee identifies key legislative issues and determines whether any upcoming legislation in Concord will impact the Souhegan Valley businesses. Membership Committee
The main focus of the Membership Committee is to help recruit new members into the Chamber, and to develop and implement a strategic plan for Chamber development. As a Chamber, it is our mission to represent a range of industries, companies, and businesses. Members of the membership committee are encouraged to attend as many events as possible, and to bring prospects as guests to show community members first-hand the benefits of Chamber membership.
