The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department is currently seeking a Waterfront Manager for Camp Naticook for Summer 2024.
The Waterfront Director coordinates the various aspects of the seasonal waterfront operations including: organizing and conducting on-the-job-training for lifeguards, supervising and scheduling Lifeguards, and reporting maintenance and other needs at the waterfront. Performs rescue maneuvers, CPR, and First Aid as needed, and takes command during emergency situations while ensuring that maximum safety precautions are practiced and rules and regulations are followed by all waterfront patrons.
Mondays - Fridays from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for a total of 40 Hours per week and position runs from June 10th - August 23rd.
Candidates must be
-At least 21 years of age
-Hold a current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer & First Aid Certifications
-Hold a current Lifeguard Certification from the American Red Cross, YMCA or similar organization
-Have demonstrated supervisory experience
Rate of pay: $20.00 - $25.35 per hour based on level of experience
